Are you ready for crew retrieval?

I recently got an email from the organizers of the Newport - Bermuda race promoting some new resources for retrieving crew who have gone overboard. I’ve seen crew members go over and under the lifelines, all within seconds. Making sure you have a plan for retrieving them is crucial for being prepared to sail offshore. Beyond having the plan, you have to practice it, with your crew! Everyone has a role to play, and most overboard situations do not happen when everyone is rested, relaxed and ready to jump into action.
