Sponsorship Levels & Benefits

Title Sponsor - $5,000 | Qty 1 Available

Align your brand, product or service with the PYC Race Series to promote it being synonymous with tradition, luxury, sailing lifestyle and adventure.

Official Beer, Wine, Mixer and/or Liquor Sponsor - See cost in details below

This is an in-kind sponsorship and is only available to one company per section (beer, wine or liquor) Your company will be named as the official beer, wine or liquor of the event. Your product will also be the only beer, wine or spirit served during the event.

There are numerous parties throughout the event where your product can be served and sampled. Portland Yacht Club is a registered bottle club with the State of Maine and therefore doesn’t sell alcohol on site which allows us to purchase alcohol and serve it “Free” to our participants and members. We are one of only a few sites in the State of Maine that can legally let consumers sample your product without purchase.

Past Official Beer, Wine or Liquor sponsors of this event include; Stirrings Premium Mixers, Gritty McDuffs Brewing, Shipyard Brewing, New Amsterdam Gin, Rising Tide Brewing, Cold River Vodka, Red Hook Brewing, Ice Pik Vodka and Mount Gay Rum.

Cost of the program is as follows:

• Official Beer - 8 Half Barrels of beer or equivalent

• Official Liquor - 50 750ml bottles or equivalent

• Official Wine - 40 750ml bottles or equivalent

Media Partners - See cost in detail below | Qty 3 Available

We often partner with publications, both online and in print to help promote our event. We have worked with Points East Magazine, Maine Boats Homes and Harbors Magazine, Sailing Anarchy, SailWorld.com and much more… Media partners usually get Chief Mate level benefits but we can tailor any program to fit your needs. Media partners are expected to provide advertising space for our event that is equivalent to the level of sponsorship provided.

Captain Level - $1,500 | Qty 5 Available overall (1 in each segment)

So you have a car dealership, heating company, watch brand, or other luxury or high end product or service and would like to be the exclusive supplier in that segment. With the Captain Level sponsorship you can be the only “XYZ car dealer” or “XYZ watch brand” etc… There will only be 5 of these sponsorships sold overall, e.g. 1 car dealer, 1 watch brand, 1 heating company, 1 financial services company and 1 you name it company. Chief Mate Level - $750 | Qty 5 Available

Don’t mind sharing the limelight with your competitor then this level is for you. Almost as much exposure as the Captain Level but without the exclusivity. See the chart below for additional benefits.

Marine Industry Partner - $250 + participant incentive | Qty 10 Available

Our trusted suppliers and services provided to our participants is very important to us and them. We want to give you the ability to market to the customers you serve at a reasonable price while providing something that will help you grow your business. This program allow you to pay a much lower sponsorship price in dollars while offering a discount, gift card or other incentive to our participants. For Example a boatyard may sponsor the event and provide a discount off winter storage to the event participant or a Marine retailer may provide $15 gift cards for a purchase of over $200 in their store. Both programs incentivize the participant to do business with you and also creates value for the event by showing that the participant gets value for his/her entry fee. We will work with you to make a great program and we will even help create the gift card or flyer or coupon whatever is needed to make the program actionable. Participant Sponsor - $150 | Qty Unlimited

Want to make the Portland Yacht Club Race Series the best it can be and to make sure that it lasts at least another 80+ years? Well help us out, your donation of $150 will get your business or personal name listed on select event banners and posters during the event and listed online. This is not a full customized sponsorship but you will be recognized online forever (or at least as long as the event is still held) and your donation will make sure this happens.
